Since 2001, Handsome has been helping to make our clients look great--by focusing on how their stories sound. Across a wide range of media that includes feature films, ads, docs, web, videos, games, vinyl & CD releases, dance, theater, and site specific installations; we focus on the detail, depth, and power that great audio brings to the storytelling experience. Over the years, we've had the pleasure to work on radio and TV commercials for brands as diverse as Budweiser, HP, Old Navy, Salesforce, HBO, and a small computer company based in Cupertino, CA. Documentaries by Werner Herzog; CD releases for Carlos Santana, Henry Kaiser, Jerry Garcia, and Matador Records. We've lent our ears and brains to award-winning independent films that have screened in festivals at Cannes, Sundance, Rotterdam, and TriBeca. And had our work installed in museums throughout Europe the US.
We've found that working with a diverse group of talented artists has helped us become better listeners and communicators. That each project's needs teach us something new about the way we hear the world around us, and reminds us to keep our minds and ears open. It means that when the client asks if we can prep our tracks for a mix-stage at Skywalker Sound, design a surround-sound playback system for a video installation in Barcelona, or deliver 50 mixes for a cell phone, we get to say "Sounds good."
